Get your views heard about how motorways and trunk roads affect riders and carriage drivers

13 Mar 2019

BHS Members in Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Berkshire, Hampshire, Surrey and Dorset are invited to take part in a research project which looks at understanding Equestrian use of the strategic road network (SRN).

Transport Focus, the independent watchdog that represents the interests of all users of England’s motorways and major ‘A’ roads (not just drivers), has commissioned Populus to conduct research into the needs and experiences of different types of users when using or crossing the SRN.

Populus are looking for people to take part in face to face interviews in the weeks of 25 March and 1 April. They want to hear from any riders or carriage drivers who use bridges, underpasses or at-level crossings of the Motorways and A-roads shown in the WHITE area on the map below; also from anyone who would like to use any of these crossings but is currently unable to do so for safety or other reasons.

Participants in this survey will receive a £60 incentive amount as a thank you for taking part; the number of places is limited, so please respond quickly if you want to be involved!

If you are interested and available to take part please contact Populus at the following email address - roadusers@populus.co.uk – and they will be in touch with some more information about the project.
