Police Scotland launch new equine road safety operation

Police Scotland launch new equine road safety operation-all invited to an interactive evening that might just save your life.
You are cordially invited to a road safety event that promises to raise the profile of equine road safety in Scotland as important partners join together to launch a new awareness raising initiative.

At 7pm on Friday 27th October at Morris Equestrian Centre, Meikle Mosside, Fenwick, Kilmarnock, KA3 6AY Police Scotland Road Policing in conjunction with the Mounted Unit, The British Horse Society and Glasgow City Council will present  Operation 'Lose the Blinkers!'

This free event will be educational and engaging with giveaways and demonstrations, presentations from Alan Hiscox - Director of Safety at British Horse Society and Constable Lisa Dunlop, Driver Trainer, Road Policing including a demonstration from the Mounted Unit.

Representatives from other Government multi agencies including local Access and Road Safety Officers will also be in attendance. Please come along with any equestrian based road safety/access issues and make your voice heard!

Refreshments available from the Stables Restaurant at Morris.  All welcome !
