BHS North West Kent Comittees first ‘Come as you are’ Dressage Competition

3 Sept 2019

Categories:

The North West Kent BHS Committee were delighted to hold their first ‘Come as you are’ Dressage Competition, at Leybourne Park Farm, by kind permission of Suzanne Lingham.  A total of forty tests were ridden and five £90 Training Bursaries were awarded, along with special awards for the Highest Placed Junior and the Best Condition and Turnout.

The day was a huge success and thanks to an army of volunteers, ran like clockwork.  Every competitor went away with a beautiful rosette, with class winners also receiving trophies and bursary winners, a certificate and sash!  Ten-year-old, Isobel Day who came 4th on her horse, Indiana Rose, also proudly went home with the award for Highest Placed Junior, as well as the Class Training Bursary! Angie Driver, Committee Chair, said that it was wonderful to see so many happy smiling faces, all enjoying their horses in glorious sunshine and is looking forward to planning a similar event for 2020.
