Interactive Rural Event at Packington

12 Oct 2021

We took a BHS information stand to the busy Leicestershire Police Interactive Rural Event at Packington at the weekend.

It was good to meet Rupert Matthews, the Leicestershire and Rutland Police and Crime Commissioner who was keen to hear about our Dead Slow Campaign.

It was also a great opportunity to catch up with Stuart Mottershaw, Casualty and Speed Reduction Coordinator with Leicestershire Police Traffic Management Department who we have worked closely with on our Road and Rider Awareness evenings and his Close Pass operations.

Our 'Horse i' app let's you report an equine related road incident directly to us.

This information is used to build a map of areas effected.

This let's us approach Local Authorities to have 'Dead Slow" signs put up.
