Sky are inviting their customers to introduce their children to riding this summer, and will be given the chance to win a one hour beginner lesson at one of 35 British Horse Society (BHS) Approved Centres across the UK and Ireland through Sky’s loyalty programme; Sky VIP. Thousands of children will be able to take part; all of whom will qualify for an hour’s riding lesson for one 4-14 year old child at their chosen BHS Approved Centre.
The session will teach the basics, from getting fitted with hats and boots to mounting and dismounting safely.
Sarah Dale, Head of Business Development at The British Horse Society, said:
“We are delighted to be working with Sky VIP on this really lovely initiative. They want to work with us because they know our centres are inspected regularly and provide exceptionally high standards in all areas of animal care and coaching, providing a safe place for everyone to enjoy horses and ponies. With thousands of children being offered a taster lesson, we are of course hoping that many of them will then want to take up riding on a regular basis.” Sarah added: “It is really exciting to be part of this Sky initiative, promoting our fabulous network of BHS Approved Centres to millions of committed sports’ fans.”
