The BHS PR & Communications team are thrilled to announce we have won two PRCA DARE Awards, the Charity/Not for Profit Award and the Media Relations Award, for our Dead Slow campaign at the end of 2020.
We achieved a combined reach of 113.8 million people with 100 pieces of press coverage, despite the pandemic dominating the news agenda. This included coverage across the BBC, ITV, Horse & Hound, The Sun, Yorkshire Post and much more!
With our statistics showing an alarming rise in road incidents involving horses and vehicles across the UK, the campaign aimed to raise awareness among drivers on how to safely pass horses on the road.
We are delighted to have won these awards. Thank you to everyone involved in making the campaign such a success, sharing content, or requesting a car sticker to help us spread our Dead Slow messages.
