The training and Assessment took place at Daisy Nook and Oakhill Riding School, just a week after The BHS and the Police did a ride by to educate drivers how to drive past horses.
22 people took part with 21 passes achieved. Everyone coped very well, especially the afternoon group, who had to cope with heavy rush hour traffic!
Those who took part, felt that they improved their awareness on how to ride on the roads through the training and assessment process. Parents and the children themselves felt much more confident about riding on the roads, feeling more conscious now of making themselves more visible for all road users to see.
it has to be said that everyone rode very well and enjoyed the training sessions, putting into practice on the day what they had learned through the training.
Well done to everyone who took part!
