Full Time - 35 hours per week (working hours)
Starting Salary: Circa £18,450 per annum 
Based at our HQ near Stoneleigh, Warwickshire (currently working remotely and in the office)

The British Horse Society is the nation’s largest equine charity with a passion for horses that is backed by knowledge and expertise. The BHS represents and provides a range of services for horse riders, horse owners, enthusiasts and professionals. 

We are looking for a promising, passionate Public Relations (PR) Assistant to support our in-house PR team. You will be joining a busy press office environment working on both proactive and reactive PR. Supporting the charities core campaigns across participation, education, access, welfare and safety through print, online and broadcast press.

Our ideal candidate will have a creative flair, brimming with potential. You will have excellent copywriting and research skills, which are very important to us. As part of the role, you will be writing press releases, dealing with journalists, briefing spokespeople, planning press campaigns and events, as well as working with multiple stakeholders and partners. You will need to be organised, an excellent communicator with a keen interest in the media and the news agenda. If this sounds like you, we’d like to meet you.
