Full time, Permanent and Temporary
Bransby Horses is one of the biggest equine charities in the UK. With the generosity of supporters, the charity is dedicated to improving the lives of horses, ponies, donkeys and mules. Home to more than 300 equines, there are plenty of four-legged friends to meet. The beautiful 600 acre site, just outside of Lincoln, has endless walkways for visitors to explore, a café, gift shop, and exhibition, play park and picnic area.
At Bransby Horses we believe that every horses deserves a life, free from cruelty and pain and our staff family are very passionate about the work that we do. Do you share this belief and our commitment to rescued and neglected equines throughout the UK?
If so, we have some rewarding opportunities available on a permanent or temporary basis for horse loving professionals who aren’t afraid to get stuck in or muck out. It is a very physical role so you need to be able to maintain a good fitness level and you must enjoy working outdoors in all types of weather. We require a level 2 in equine studies and at least one years’ practical experience as a minimum.
You will be joining a friendly and knowledge team on one of our specialist yards and with our dedicated buddy system and comprehensive training and development programme, you will quickly feel part of the herd. You will provide daily, hands on equine care and handle our horses with care and compassion. If you are invited for an interview you will be required to complete a morning on the yard, demonstrating your equine skill set and then meet with our Deputy Farm Manager to assess your suitability for the role.
You will be required to work every other weekend.
The entry salary is dependent on experience and comes with an attractive benefits package, as well as plenty of training and development opportunities.
