We have a great opportunity based at our Shuttleworth campus for two Associate Equine Centre Groom’s to become a key members of our Animal Sciences department.
As an Equine Centre Groom, you will play a pivotal role in the success of our students through:
- Contributing to the day to day running of the Equine Unit including weekend cover
- Participating in the care of horses to include all routine husbandry duties
- Exercising horses as directed by the Centre Manager
Our ideal candidates will have relevant current vocational experience in the equine sector and experience of caring for a number of horses in a range of different settings, alongside the following qualifications:
- British Horse Society Stage 2 or equivalent
- English and Maths or similar at GCSE grade A-C or equivalent
