About me

RIDING Is FUN! Having taught riding and horse care both in my own centre in Yorkshire and then freelance in East Anglia my aim has always been to encourage and inspire riders at all levels from beginners to career students with particular attention to those lacking in confidence.

I have trained riders at all levels including running evening courses in horse care and am fully conversant with the Challenge Awards as well as preparation for the BHS Stage examinations. My work with RDA has been inspirational and confirmed my belief that horses are amazing and should be respected and well cared for. I am strongly in favour of the BHS Road Safety campaign and am a Ride Safe Advisor and Trainer happy to organise training for individuals or in groups.

To support the BHS I completed a sponsored ride across Mongolia in 2018 and continue to help as a voluntary Welfare Adviser and Friend at the End. I have 3 dogs, a Fell pony of 31 yrs and a younger gypsy cob who I compete with in carriage driving. I am continually trying to update my own knowledge and enjoy sharing it wherever possible.
