Three steps to success with Caroline Moore FBHS
The third episode in the series is Caroline Moore’s: Three Steps to Success which will be released on Thursday 10 June. Using arena eventing fences, including slopes and an exciting water complex, Caroline introduced us to her three-step process; training to learn, training to compete and training to win. For the final section of the programme, training to win, she was joined by Ros Canter and her World Championship Horse Allstar B for a masterclass in exactly how to get it right!
Caroline has produced and ridden horses up to 5* level, competing at Badminton, Burghley, Bramham and Blenheim, as well as overseas. In 2007 she took part in the Olympic test event in Hong Kong on Don Giovanni. Caroline, who is a British Eventing Youth Performance Coach, now focuses mainly on coaching riders and other coaches to improve their skills, with the main aim to develop confidence and belief by building correct foundations.
Over the years Ros has enjoyed both national and international success. 2015 saw Ros compete at her first Land Rover Burghley CC15* completion riding Allstar B – the pair winning the prize for best British first timers. They completed again in 2016, Ros having also been selected to travel out to Rio as part of the Ambition Programme, for a behind the scenes look at the Olympic Games.
Ros and Allstar B took 3rd place at Badminton in 2018, earning a place on the short list for the World Equestrian Games. It was Allstar B who made the flight to the States, and an immaculate dressage score finish resulted in both a team gold medal and the individual title of World Champions.
