Overview

From novice to advanced level, TOCES offers full or short online and/or printed tutor-supported equine distance learning courses to students of all ages.  Study from home, anywhere in the world, with the option of practical training at study weeks. 

Courses cover a wide range of subjects including CPD for professionals, including:


BHS Stage 1 Horse Care

The course is designed to:

  • Provide a straightforward introductory course suitable for anyone wishing to establish the foundation of stable management principles
  • Study online at home at your convenience with support from qualified tutors and industry professionals
  • Prepare students for the BHS Equine Excellence Pathway ‘Groom Pathway’ Stage 1 Care examination (Please note that TOCES do not hold these examinations and it is not mandatory to complete this assessment following the completion of this programme).

BHS Stage 2 Horse Care

The course is designed to:

Prepare students for the BHS Equine Excellence Pathway ‘Groom Pathway’ Stage 2 Care examination. This is a tutor supported distance learning course. (Please note that TOCES do not hold these examinations and it is not mandatory to complete this assessment following the completion of this programme).

BHS Stage 3 Horse Care

The course is designed to:

Prepare students for the BHS Equine Excellence Pathway ‘Groom Pathway’ Stage 3 Care examination. This is a tutor supported distance learning course. (Please note that TOCES do not hold these examinations and it is not mandatory to complete this assessment following the completion of this programme).

BHS Stage 4 Horse Care

The course is designed to:

Prepare students for the BHS Equine Excellence Pathway ‘Groom Pathway’ Stage 4 Care and Management examination. This is a tutor supported distance learning course. (Please note that TOCES do not hold these examinations and it is not mandatory to complete this assessment following the completion of this programme).
