Planning for Equine Accidents and Emergencies

8 Dec 2020

BHS Hampshire are delighted to have Anton Phillips, from the Hampshire Large Animal Rescue leading three different topics this year.  Anton will be walking audiences through the different risks and how to prevent as many of them as possible.

All the talks are being held in Hampshire Fire Stations by kind permission of Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service.  For this reason we are unable to accept entries on the door, tickets must be booked in advance – and they are free!

Planning for Equine Accidents and Emergencies:

No one likes to think about accidents, about all the things that could go wrong, but this is what the fire service has to do all the time, facing some of the worst things. To deal with the vast range of incidents they might encounter they try to prevent what they can, but just as importantly they have lots of different plans that they can follow when something happens. This talk will show real life examples, to help you to understand what you can avoid and give you the background knowledge to be as prepared as possible so you can deal with that unforeseen event, both at home and when out and about.

Time: 6.30pm for a 7pm start and finish at 9pm.
