Lecture and horse brain dissection with Dr. Andrew Hemmings
The aim of the evening is to give practical advice into the application of equine neuroscience to the wellbeing and training of the horses in our care. The session will start with a one hour interactive presentation which explores some brain basics and how these relate to management, training and welfare.
Short break including food and drinks. The food will be a grazing box with a variety of cold foods. Please state on booking any special dietary requirements.
In part two, Dr. Hemmings will give a guided dissection of the horse brain which will be enhanced by the range of preserved brain specimens available at the Royal Agricultural University.
This event will count as 2 CPD points for BHS Accredited Professional Coaches.
