Horses are unpredictable
Passing Horses Wide and Slow can prevent the Death of Drivers, Riders and Horses.
Are you a car, van or lorry driver and not sure how to pass a horse and rider safely? What are the changes to the Highway Code about?
Do you ride on the road? If so, do you know the responsibilities and the law? Do you ride on the pavement, ride two abreast, use a mobile phone when riding? Have you suffered from road rage and dangerous driving?
What can you do to avoid becoming another statistic? How to report incidents/accidents and ensure you are covered in the event of an accident.
The BHS invites all drivers & vulnerable road users to come and find out what we can do together to make the roads a safer place for all.
Speakers include The British Horse Society's Director of Safety Alan Hiscox and other road safety experts.
The doors open at 6.30 pm for tea and cake. Evening finishes approx. 8.30pm.
This event is free and everyone is welcome.
