Eric is a Fellow of the British Horse Society and is a renowned international competitor, coach and successful producer of young horses, at all levels. He represented Ireland at the Summer Olympics in 1992 and 1996 and was reserve for 2000 and 2004. He was also on the Bronze medal-winning team in the 1993 and 1995 European Championships and competed at three World Equestrian Games as well as competing regularly at Badminton and Burghley.
He coached the Belgian Eventing Team for the 2012 London Olympics and is an FEI judge, regularly acting as Ground Jury.
Clinic places for horse and rider:
An opportunity to benefit from Eric Smiley’s extensive experience in coaching you and your horse to effectively prepare on the flat for jumping, followed by jumping exercises (SJ and XC questions) to develop horse and rider confidence and effectiveness in a straightforward and logical fashion.
Horse and riders must be comfortable jumping 80cm or above.
Groups of four for 90 minutes. £60 per person.

There may be some people observing who Eric will involve, particularly during the change over between groups.
