Rob Lovatt FBHS will look at lateral work and how ridden correctly can be used to improve the horse's jump.
This course is aimed at all levels from riders and coaches to students training towards BHS assessments who would like to develop their knowledge and understanding of how lateral work can help to improve the horse's jump.
The course content includes:
- Lateral work - The purpose and benefits, how it should be correctly ridden and what can go wrong.
- How the horse's jump can be improved by incorporating lateral work into jumping exercises.
- The day will be presented by Rob Lovatt FBHS. All welcome counts as 6 points for BHS APCs.
The plan for the day is to make it informative yet interactive. You will be encouraged to share ideas which can be considered and discussed. This is how we all learn to improve and progress with our training.
Lunch is not provided so please bring your own packed lunch and a cushion if you wish!
Relevant Covid precautions will be in place in line with Government advice at the time.
