The British Horse Society (BHS) would like to thank the Millennium Stadium Charitable Trust (MSCT) for the generous donation of £7000 to our Changing Lives through Horses (CLtH) programme.
The Trust was established through an agreement between The Millennium Stadium plc and the Millennium Commission, with funding coming from a levy paid on each ticket from a public event.
The money donated by MSCT will help fund our Changing Lives through Horses programme. Using the unique equestrian environment, CLtH has supported over 2,000 young people so far, allowing them to rekindle their desire to continue within education and training. It really emphasises how transformational the horse-human bond can be for young people and why it’s so vital that we continue to make horses accessible for all.
Through the donation, several BHS Approved Riding Centres in Wales will be supported, including Bryngwyn Riding Centre, Smugglers Equestrian Centre, Dinefwr Riding Centre, Havard Stables and Marros Riding Centre.
We would like to thank the MSCT for their generous support, the positive difference it will make for these equestrian centres and for helping to secure the future of equestrianism.
