About us

Set in 19 acres at the edge of Epsom Downs and adjacent to the Woodland Trust Centenary Forest, Wildwoods offers varied off road hacking in the Surrey countryside in all directions.
Our BHS qualified instructors will help you get the best from your time in the saddle from beginner to advanced, whatever your goals.

The centre was started by Anthea and was first licensed in 1976.

Lessons are private or in small groups of like standard for maximum progression.

We have a range of well-schooled horses and ponies and offer tuition up to BHS Stage 3 level.

We are a BHS training and exam assessment centre.

Sessions on 'Trojan', our Racewood Dressage simulator provide a quick way to learn and are an invaluable tool to improve posture, core strenght and stabilty in the saddle.

We have two outdoor arenas and a jumping area with a full set of showjumps. Our cross-counrty course varies in height up to 90cms.

We are also a Pony Club Centre with a range of activities in school holidays.

Western and side-saddle tuition available.

Our weight limit is 14 stone/90kgs.
