About us

Short Stay Homes offer a selection of luxury holiday homes within the Hampshire and Dorset area. Mews Hill shares its location with two of our other holiday homes 'Riverside Lodge' and 'Criddlestyle Cottage'.

All holiday homes are ideally situated on the fringe of the New Forest National Park in Hampshire. Taken together, up to 25 guests could enjoy this beautiful location if required.

Mews Hill adjoins a two-acre paddock which benefits from newly erected wooden stabling - ideal for two small horses or ponies. The stables are approached via a five barred gate on soft ground. There is ample parking for trailers / horse box adjacent to the property. A secure separate tack room is also provided with saddle racks, as well as light, power and secure locking. The stabling abuts the two-acre adjoining paddock. The stabling is approached via two, five barred gate entrances for added security. Available on a DIY basis and booked only in conjunction with Mews Hill, fees are £75 per horse/pony per week.

Mews Hill is an extended and refurbished bright and spacious modern chalet style property which now offers accommodation to a five star standard over two floors, sleeping up to 11 guests in complete comfort. The accommodation is perfect for guests with limited mobility due to its two ground floor bedrooms with one en-suite wet-room and one family shower room. Three further bedrooms are located on the first floor with one en-suite and a further family shower room. With the addition of a table tennis and table football in the garage, Mews Hill offers something for all the family to enjoy.

The New Forest has extensive bridleways to enjoy this stunning area. From the paddock, riders can access the bridleway which involves a short ride on the main road before accessing an extensive network of further bridleways criss-crossing the New Forest.

Full information on the property and directions are sent by email once a guest has paid the balance of the cost of their holiday home.
