About us
Officially opened in 2013 by HRH The Princess Royal Lochside Arena is the only facility of its kind on the islands of Lewis & Harris and offers a 60x30 Indoor and 30x30 outdoor arena for private and group hire. We also hold regular coaching sessions with BHS advanced and senior instructors, competitions, group practice days and annual horse shows.
The center has 10 indoor stables, toilets and changing rooms with showers and a small kitchen/recreation room.
We can also offer a full competition standard set of show jumps and a 40x20 Dressage arena if you want to use the arena for your own event.
The site has ample parking and can accommodate 90 spectators.
Lochside Arena is run entirely by volunteers and is a registered charity in Scotland.
