About us

Award winning riding school with great hacking. Lessons offered daily on our much loved team of horses and ponies. Our coaches and support staff are dedicated to providing a safe fun education for both people and horses led by Patricia Bishop the founder of the school. Fascilities include large flood lit outdoor arena, half mile exercise track, summer grass arena, cross country practice fences, full set of showjumps and jumping lane. Set in a beautiful Somerset village with access to woodland rides and miles of bridle paths with a host of options locally for hotels, camping and air b & b. Childrens half and full day clubs suit all abilities 5yrs + helmets supplied if required. Adult lessons weight limit 14 stone. We can cater for riders with many types of additional needs, just call us for a quick chat if we cannot horse you we will do our best to find an alternative. Hacking is suited to riders with experience and is kept to walk and trot only. Cross country rides are for experienced riders who must supply their own equipment including back protector to current accepted standard. Beginner half hour lead rein riders are welcomed on Saturdsys at 4pm and 4.30. All rides must be booked in advance. Payment us accepted by Bank Transfer, cash or cheque and all riders must complete a rider registration form which must be kept up to date. Once a lesson is in the diary payment secures the booking for you, if you cancel with 48hrs + a voucher for full lesson will be issued, less than 48 hrs no refund. If for safety or operational readons we have to cancel your booking will be transferred to a mutually convenient date.
