About Me

I am a full time freelance coach covering Surrey, West Sussex and Hampshire. I enjoy coaching all types of clients, including children, teenagers and adults who are at any stage of their learning journey from beginners up to national championship level. I have specialist knowledge of rider biomechanics, confidence and mindset, sports psychology and equine facilitated human development.
I take a strong welfare based approach to my coaching, placing the horses needs first and addressing the horse/rider relationship as key to the success of any activity or goal. I also blend in a deep knowledge of the science and body language of how horses learn and express themselves, and can educate students on how to bring out the best in their horses whilst remaining ethical and kind.
I have personal experience of competing in top level Showjumping and Showing and have twice qualified for Horse of the Year show on home produced horses. However it is coaching and training that I most enjoy and this is now my main focus.
I am accredited with Mary Wanless Ride with Your Mind Coach. I am also a Centre 10 Advanced Coach and hold a level 5 Certificate in Equine Facilitated Human Development.
