I have been heavily involved with riding safely on the roads since 1976, as trainer, examiner (now Assessor) and with training of the trainers and examiners themselves (previously nationally). I am freelance, and have considerable experience in teaching all ages about safety and behaviour on the roads and outside the confines of the riding school situation. I now limit myself to this aspect of coaching although still retain an active interest in current ideas on coaching generally and horse welfare.
