I have trained children and adults for 40 years, privately and through Pony Club and Riding Club
In my past I have competed at British Eventing up to intermediate level and Show Jumped up to 1.20m.
I have bred and produced my own horses to these levels, and understand the many paths and pitfalls that can happen to take to get to this level.
In recent years I have competed at Badminton Grassroots Championships five times now on two different horses, one of which I bred and the other one, had only ever hunted before I brought him.
I enjoy teaching children and adults, mainly jumping in my own large fenced arena with a full set of show jumps, or cross country at local venues. I believe the flat work is key to success at jumping and winning, I have proven this again to myself, gaining a 14 dressage at a British Eventing competition and going on to win the class
My son is now an international Event Rider and another one of my pupils was short-listed for Tokyo Olympics 2021, both of which I helped train them with their riding paths.
