About me

I’ve been teaching for over 40 years and have been very privileged to have trained with many classical and highly respected trainers. Please see my website for more details. I competed up to PSG level and sadly after the loss of my horse at that time, I found myself working much more with horses recovering from injury or bad training. I teach riders and horses of all levels and ages, from the beginner to competition rider. I take a very holistic approach and aim to train riders to have a good foundation in their riding and knowledge so that they can develop on to any level. It’s very important to me that the horses I work with are comfortable and happy to work and I have much experience in helping riders to do that and to ride with empathy.

I also teach regularly on a simulator in Lingfield Surrey which is very effective for developing a good position and muscle memory in riders of all levels.

I specialise in dressage training, rider and horse biomechanics for the wellness of the horse.
