Clare Pettitt

I am an experienced instructor with a varied career both nationally and internationally. I have competed up to BE Novice level. I enjoy coaching up to BE Novice level in all disciplines and all age groups. I am available for private lessons and to teach pony clubs and riding clubs.

About me

I am a BHS Stage 3 Complete Coach with Stage 4 Teach and Stable Management and my UKCC level 2. I am also an RDA Coach and Coach Developer and am training for my Advanced Coach qualification.

My passion is Eventing and I have competed at BE Novice and RC Open level. I teach a wide variety of riders in all disciplines, adults and children from beginners and grassroots to competition riders up to BE Intermediate and SJ 1.20 and Medium Dressage.

I am currently the Chief Instructor for the Suffolk Hunt branch of the pony club and also teach at clinics and camps for the Eastern Region BHS and Riding Clubs.

I have worked in the Thoroughbred industry in Australia and New Zealand so understand the training needs of a wide variety of horses.

I am available for private lessons and clinics and have a friendly, and empathetic attitude to all my clients.

I take a holistic approach to my teaching valuing both the welfare of my clients and their horses and like to work as a team to get the best results whether for a happy hacker or a competition partnership.
