Dates of Camps:
- 22-24 April
- 24-26 June
- 2-4 September
Have fun – learn – build confidence.
- Riders and horses of all levels – you’ll be matched with similar abilities for ridden sessions.
- All about having fun with horses, building confidence and improving skills
- Fantastic, friendly and great fun coaches - Charlie Samuel-Camps, a freelance Stage 4 Senior
- Coach (BHSII) has competed successfully at affiliated dressage, showjumping and eventing with a number of horses over the years, and is passionate about helping other riders achieve their goals, whatever those might be. She just loves teaching! As well as riding time, there will be plenty of coffee and cake time to talk horse. We’ll have a speaker or some games in the evenings, and a weighbridge in attendance one day.
Itinerary: Friday
Arrive late morning onwards
Afternoon - Flat lesson
Evening – a welcome drink and either a demo, talk or game!
Saturday:
Morning – Dressage test-riding
Afternoon - Show jumping and cross-country lesson (polework and terrain for non-jumpers)
Sunday:
Pick and mix – choose your favourite activity (or the one that needs most practice!) and have another whirl! Maybe you want to ride another test then do a clear round XC, or just jump again.
Head for home after a welcome cuppa and presentation of rosettes
Programme may vary in terms of which activities are on which day.
The cost is £260 per rider. Attend 2 camps and get £50 off the second one (must be the same rider, needn’t be the same horse)! Additional humans (if you bring a partner or friend to groom for example) are charged at £15 to cover refreshments and facilities costs.
