Sports Psychology Workshop on 'Though Stopping' with Katie Sinnott

Tuesday 8 March 2022 at 7pm - this is a follow up to the introductory session.

You can attend this workshop even if you have not attended the first Psychology Workshop. 

You can either purchase an in-person ticket or participate virtually via video link . You can confirm your choice at check out. This event will not be recorded as it is a workshop type event.

The in-person event will take place at BHS Scotland Hub, Stirling Agricultural Centre, Suite A3, Stirling FK9 4RN

The online event will be delivered via Microsoft Teams

A focus on Thought Stopping.

At the Olympics Steve Redgrave said that 90% of performance on the day is due to Mindset.

Whether we are leisure or competition riders we know that our mindset affects both us AND our horses - so how do we get it right? This can also be a challenge for our Coaches and Trainers.

This will be an interactive session so please be prepared to participate.

Cost: £12 for BHS Accredited Professional Coaches; £15 for others.

This counts towards CPD for BHS Accredited Professional Coaches (this counts as 2 hours towards the 6 hours required annually for CPD).

Katie has over 10 years experience providing psychological support to individual athletes, squads, coaches and officials of varying ages and standards, from amateur/club level up to, and including, World, Commonwealth, European and Paralympic champions and across 39 sports from Archery to Wrestling.
