Child Wellbeing and Protection in Sport at Morris EC

15 May 2019 18:30 - 21:30

Children and young people are the future of our industry, we all have a duty to safeguard their welfare and they have a right to enjoy equestrianism in a fun and safe environment and be protected from harm.

All Accredited Professional Coaches are required to complete a Safeguarding Course in order to remain an Accredited Professional Coach. This revamped BEF Safeguarding course is valid for three years. There will be a phasing in period where Accredited Professional Coaches will be asked to complete a course by a certain date, depending on their existing course date.
The course, which is open to everyone who works or volunteers with children, is 3 hours long and all course material is provided. It will be delivered by a current SportsScotland coach.

Cost: FREE for BHS Accredited Professional Coaches - email tricia.halley@bhs.org.uk

£20 for all others  - book online
