BHS Isle of Man are back with another Pleasure Ride around the St John's area, our pleasure rides are perfect for discovering new routes or joining up with some friends to support our work to improve riding routes in our local areas.
Join us for our 2021 fund-raising pleasure ride. This year's ride covers routes around St John's and the Archallagan plantation. The ride starts at Kennaa Equestrian Centre, takes the "Seven Gates" track up to Archallagan then back down to the Heritage Trail, returning to Kennaa. The route is approximately eight miles (13km) over varied ground conditions and a mixture of terrains. (Map Link)
It should take around two hours to complete. Marshals will be managing the gates.
The event supports the BHS Ride Out UK initiative, which provides funding for projects which open and/or enable safe off-road equestrian access.
All entries and payments to be completed online in advance. £12 per rider.
Every rider who completes the course will receive a rosette.
Fancy swapping 4 legs for 2? We are also in need of approximately 14 volunteer stewards to help with running of the event so if you can spare an afternoon we'd love to hear from you, message the Isle of Man Facebook page or please contact Lyndsay Dring, North West Regional Manager
