POSTPONED: BHS IOM Ask the Experts Evening Q&A on Laminitis, Cushings & EMS

3 Apr 2020

Due to the current crisis with Coronavirus (Covid-19) we have cancelled/postponed all of our calendar of events and gatherings until the end of June 2020.

Our regional teams and committees are in the process of advising everyone who has booked or indicated an interest of the cancellation.

Our panel of experts will each be giving a short presentation and discussing how to identify symptoms and manage each condition, paying particular attention to how closely they are interlinked. This will be followed by a Q&A on Laminitis Cushings & EMS. If you would like to submit a question in advance please contact our Facebook page @bhsiom

Terms and Conditions:

All events are checked for viability approximately five working days prior to the date of the event. At this point, any event which has insufficient numbers, or which may be impacted by adverse weather, may be cancelled. In the case of adverse weather, the event may be cancelled at any time up to and including the day of the event. In these instances, attendees booked on the cancelled event will receive a full refund. If an attendee arrives at a venue for an event that has been cancelled, any expenses incurred by the attendee are wholly their own.

Event fees are non-refundable if cancelled by the attendee within five working days of the event date without a medical certificate, which must be received within three working days of the event date. All cancellations MUST be in writing by post or email. It is the responsibility of each attendee to ensure that they provide correct, up to date contact details.

The BHS, or the venue, cannot provide supervision for attendees under the age of 18. It is a recommendation that any attendee below the age of 16 years should be accompanied by a responsible adult who remains at the venue for the duration of the course or event. For attendees aged 16-17, or an adult at risk, it is at the discretion of their parent or guardian. Any accompanying adults will need to pay to attend the event.

The organisers have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present.
