Jo Winfield FBHS Polework Clinic

2 May 2022

Jo Winfield's polework clinics have proved to be a great success - not surprisingly given her wonderful teaching style.

"What a high to end the day on. We didn’t know what to expect but both felt that Jo totally understood us, our horses and all the relationships in between. In a very gentle manner, she has helped us to learn more about our riding and our gals; and that was so refreshing. We loved it."

Jo gained her Fellowship of the British Horse Society in 2007. She is a General Fellow and has skills, qualifications and experience across all disciplines. She specialises in helping riders and horses at all levels to perform to their full potential. Her philosophy is that horse riding should be fun and rewarding!

The clinic will run as a mix of 45 minutes pairs sessions and hourly sessions for 3 people per group, according to demand. If the clinic is full we expect to run the first group at noon and the last from 7pm (daylight ends about 8.30pm) but if there is demand for more groups we will do our best to accommodate you.  We expect to be in the outdoor school but may change to the indoor school if necessary.

The cost of the clinic is £50 for a pairs session or £45 for the hourly group session. We are offering 'early bird' tickets with a £5 discount to £45/£40 if you book and pay at least 3 weeks before the clinic - ie by Monday 11th April.  Bookings will close on Monday 25th April, except for any available spaces to complete groups/pairs.

If you book alone for a 45 minute pairs session, we reserve the right to place you in an hour group of three if no suitable partner books. We will of course refund you the extra £5 in this event.

We are also offering the option of flatwork sessions if required - though in the past polework has been much more popular.  Please contact if you would prefer a flat session - if there is enough demand to create a group we will do so.

All horses must have been vaccinated within the last 12 months with the most recent injection at least 7 days before the event date - evidence to be provided by email in advance.

If necessary due to government guidance at the time, Covid related procedures may be implemented - if so you will be advised in advance of the event.
