Dressage test riding clinic with BD Judge, Ross Algar BHSII and BD Judge
- Struggling with your free walk?
- Can't seem to break the 70% barrier?
- What do those comments actually mean?
This is an excellent opportunity to have all of your dressage questions answered. Ross is a BD Judge & Listed Trainer, a BE Accredited Coach and a BHS Stage 4 Coach in Complete Horsemanship. From a non horsey back ground, Ross started his riding journey as a child at his local riding school with the great Liz Pickard (Miss P). At 19 he left to join the army and went on to spend 12 years in the Kings Troop, where his passion for coaching began. Ross then went on to compete at advanced level in both Dressage and Eventing, and has coached riders at National Level. With many strings to his bow, his knowledge and advice in all areas of equestrianism is very sought after. We are very excited to be able to secure him to teach some clinics for us this year.
Sessions are held in the 30x60m outdoor arena at The College of West Anglia, Milton with a 20x40m dressage arena marked out. 1hr 15min session - £35. Small groups of a maximum of 3 riders. During the session you will warm up as a group, each ride the test and receive individual feedback, then have a short group lesson before riding the test again with Ross judging it this time. You will be able to take the sheet away with you with your personal comments and score. Sessions will range from Intro - Novice. Similar levels will be grouped together. Please specify if you would like to ride with a friend, so we can put you in the same session.
Limited to 15 places, advance booking using our online system only. Booking closes 7 days before the clinic. Times will be emailed 5 days before the clinic. Spaces reserved on a first come basis upon receipt of full payment, no spaces can be reserved without full payment. Like most horsey events, spaces are non-refundable if for any reason you are unable to attend.
