RVC Equine lecture series 2020: Internal parasites and worm control of horses – what’s new?

5 Feb 2020

About this course:  Are you confused by conflicting advice on worm control in horses? How worrying is the rise in resistance to worming products and what can be done about it? What exactly is a liver fluke?

This interactive lecture will introduce you to the internal worms and parasites that can infest your horse and describe the damage that they can do. It will detail various different strategies of worm control and present the evidence behind each of them.

The lecture will also discuss the latest diagnostic tests, pasture management and how to design an effective preventative worming plan to help you to protect your horse.

British Horse Society support plus CPD Accreditation:

BHS Hertfordshire is delighted to announce that the RVC Equine Lecture Series is now accredited by the British Horse Society as CPD for BHS Accredited Professional Coaches. Attending three lectures counts as CPD for a year.
