We are shocked by the events that have been unfolding in Ukraine. We unreservedly condemn the Russian invasion of a sovereign state, which brings terror and tragedy to all its people. The British Horse Society fully supports the actions taken by the FEI and we support the sanctions imposed by them on Russia and Belarus, to show condemnation of the attack, and to demonstrate our full support for Ukraine and all its people. Our thoughts and prayers are with all the people of Ukraine.
Whilst we recognise that our part in the global condemnation is relatively small, we take our place to be counted.
