Staffordshire Moorlands Bridleways Group (SMBG) are a proactive bridleways group - promoting off-road riding, submitting applications to have routes upgraded to bridleways or higher rights, gathering user evidence, discovering lost and forgotten routes and reclaiming them. The group check routes that have been obstructed, shut off or are now overgrown, and organising bridleway clearance working parties and annual fund raising fun ride.
