About North Cheshire Riders
We aim to improve access for horse riders, and make a safer riding environment. We give details of good local rides in Cheshire and countrywide and campaign for safer riding on highways.
We work on claiming local lost ways and liaise with Rights of Way staff and Highways in Cheshire.
We run guided rides every month Fridays and Sundays April to October to show riders the routes in Cheshire in small groups so they can ride these routes on their own afterwards.
We help riders report problems on Rights of Way and at present are using income from last year's rides to make improvements to a route with the agreement of Highways cleaning vegetation and installing bollards so the route stays clear of fly tipping in future.
