Discover Carriage Driving With BHS Central Demo & Try Drive
Saturday 31 May 2025, 10am-4pm
Stirling Agricultural Centre, Stirling, FK9 4RN
Want to try something new this year? Then the BHS Central Demo & Try Drive might be of interest.
Maybe you're a seasoned rider, a happy hacker or your kids have outgrown a pony that would thrive in a new job. Driving is a unique way of partnership between you and your horse - using just your hands and your voice.
Kindly hosted by the Scottish Carriage Driving Association (SCDA), they will have top-class coaches there including Patsy Muir Simpson, Lee Valentine, Carol Lumsden and Bex March alongside three British Team Members chatting/coaching on the day, as well as other dedicated SCDA volunteers.
See a demonstration that will show the three phases of our events, dressage, cones and obstacles. Learn the basics of rein handling, whip control, starting a pony to drive, theory with obstacle driving, and lots more. Hear all about the SCDA and give carriage driving a go!
