Make a donation – how your money will help us

The British Horse Society is the UK’s leading equine charity. We rely on the support from membership subscriptions plus donations and legacies we receive, to help us carry out our wide-ranging charitable work.

Making a donation to The British Horse Society will allow us to undertake more charitable work to benefit horses and riders including:

• Expanding our welfare services which, on average, deal with more than 30,000 enquiries each year and is responsible for 60 rescued horses and ponies homed throughout the UK
  
  
• Campaigning for and protecting equestrian rights of way
  
  
• Lobbying on key equestrian issues on behalf of all riders and their horses
  
  
• Offering riding opportunities to disadvantaged young people, helping them to develop a passion for horses and for riding.
