With a World Heritage site on the doorstep, Telford Bridleways Association recently organised a guided ride in and around Ironbridge.
The 12-mile route took in all of the local sights as well as parts of the Severn Way, Monarch's Way and the Silkin Way.
The scenery in the Severn Gorge is stunning and it is always a great thrill to ride across the Iron Bridge in the hoofprints of many other horses who have done so over the past 200 years.
It was quite a sight for all the tourists in Ironbridge to watch the horses and see them all ride through the town. All funds raised go to the group's access fighting fund.
The next guided ride is in and around Wellington on 25 August.
