BHS Herefordshire held a coach trip to Ferdi Eilbergs yard on 26 January. Organiser Alison Robbins said “It really was the most brilliant day. We were so engrossed in the horses and training and riding we were seeing that we left the yard an hour later than planned. Each horse we saw had different needs from newly broken to Grand Prix schoolmasters. They were all beautifully ridden, marvellously muscled and in superb health.
The Eilberg family were so kind and generous with their time and interest, giving us a really outstanding experience. We toured the stables with perfectly banked beds in extra large stables and every horse was delighted to see us and made friends with ears forward, such happy horses were a pleasure to see. The truly remarkable tack room was pristine. Everyone wants to go again. I am going to ask if we can return next autumn or early spring to catch up with all the horses we met”.
