Bridleway success in Chale

29 Apr 2013

Categories:

The C26 bridleway in Chale was recently reported to the BHS Access and Bridleways Officer (ABO) on the Isle of Wight as being dangerous to ride along. The concerns about the path included thick wire and metal posts, ditches and overgrown vegetation.

After consulting the island council's rights of way team, the bridleway was cleared and made a safe place to ride once again. The route has since been used by the rider who made the initial report, who is delighted with the work completed and thanked the BHS for their help in clearing the route.
