Quob Stables Equestrian Centre held a successful Give Horses A Go Day on Sunday 13 September with visitors enjoying free beginner sessions as well as horseball and polocrosse. BBC South Today presenter Alexis Green joined the fun in Southampton on Sunday, by trying out action packed sport of horseball.
The session was filmed by BBC South Today as part of Quob Stables’ first Give Horses A Go Day, which is part of a new campaign launched by the British Equestrian Federation (BEF) giving people the chance to get closer to horses for free! Alexis took part in a taster horse ball session, before joining Quob Stables horseball team in a match against the British Horseball Association’s London team. As well as taster horseball sessions, visitors enjoyed free beginner sessions for those new to horse riding, and Hoof representative, Jodie Bratchell was spotted joining in one the popular polocrosse sessions!
