BHS Hampshire offers Training Bursary

7 Nov 2012

BHS Hampshire committee is delighted to announce details of their 2013 Training Bursary. The bursary, worth nearly £450, is for registered BHSAIs who are working towards taking the Intermediate Teaching Test.

A training day will be held on 5 February at Wellington Riding, by kind permission of David Sherring. Geared towards developing teaching and coaching skills, the training will be taken by Robert Pickles, himself a Fellow of the British Horse Society. The day is open to BHS Registered Assistant Instructors who either live or work in Hampshire, and is free to attend.

Robert will assess the candidates’ potential throughout the training, and will award the bursary to the most promising candidate. The winner will receive £200 towards training for the Intermediate Teaching Test and have their examination fee of £245 paid too.

Anyone interested in finding out more about the bursary or booking a place on the training day should contact Alison Russell on 01794 323540 or
