Gloucestershire riders benefit from Bridleway Improvements

26 June 2013

Local riders are one of the groups of beneficiaries of some dedicated hard work to improve a route  in the Leonard Stanley and King's Stanley area of Gloucestershire.

The driving force behind this was local rider, Pat Harris who has written a full report (pdf) on how she went about getting the work done. The BHS commends her and the team of people who assisted her on all of their efforts which has improved a route for riders for many years to come.

Pat's report (pdf) just goes to show how many people need to be involved, how long these things take and how much it can cost and were it not for Local Bridleway Groups, BHS Access Officers and enthusiastic local riders some of our coveted off road riding would be unusable or lost.
