BHS to pilot Business Management Course

17 Dec 2012

In March, the BHS Training Team are piloting a new Equestrian Business Management course which will be rolled out regionally if successful.

This course is in response to requests from people who work in varying parts of the equestrian industry for more help and information regarding Business and Yard Management.  The course will cover topics such as Risk Management, Current Legislation, Customer Care and Training to mention a few.

The content of the course will be suitable for a whole range of positions held within the industry.  If you are currently studying for your Stage 4 Horse Knowledge & Care or Intermediate Teaching Test then there will be topics that will help you.  If you currently run a yard or are working on a yard and would like some further support and information regarding the business side then there will be topics that we are sure you will find extremely useful.

Our course developer and presenter is Marcus Clinton, who is an author, lecturer and current Curriculum Development Manager based at Northumberland College Kirkley Hall Campus.

If you would like to book onto the course, please contact the Training Team on 02476 840510 or email a.lefevre@bhs.org.uk.
