The BHS's new Development Director, Alan Hiscox, recently paid a visit to the North Region for a recce.
Alan travelled with Development Officer Wendy Suddes, to Northumberland and Cumbria over the two-day visit and took the opportunity to meet BHS Cumbria Committee members at Shap in order to make a presentation to our 900th member in the County - Alethea Prince from Kendal.
Alethea was delighted when she heard of her success - and even more so to receive a certificate, champagne, large rosette and other goodies to mark the occasion.
Alethea is a lifelong rider who has just started riding a friends horse and felt it important to have some insurance cover in place whilst supporting the charity work of the Society.
Committee members Barbara Burton, Gay Parkin and North Region Chair, Jean Rogers BHSI, were there to make the presentation.
