Well, they say Liverpool knows how to party, and what a way to celebrate the New Year! Liverpool International Horse Show, which ran from 1 - 3 January at Echo Arena was a resounding success and it was an honour to be their Equestrian Charity of the Year for the duration of the show.
Packed audiences for all performances watched exciting classes from Knockout Relays, Puissance, top level Grand Prix, to Clemence Faivre and Shetland Pony Grand National. With an electric atmosphere, horses jumped higher and faster, producing a fantastic showcase of Equestrianism throughout. Nina Barbour, organiser of Liverpool Horse Show and Bolesworth International, commented that "50% of the audience have never really been involved in the sport before", which goes to show what a wide audience a show of this scale can attract.
North West Regional Manager, Hannah Carrick said, "it is so exciting to welcome this brilliant new show to not only our region, but the Equestrian Event calender! What a fantastic opportunity for all horse lovers to view top class horses, riders and up and coming names and hopefully this show will go a long way to inspiring further participation across the North West."
